Jenni Hietala

The Finnish soprano Jenni Hietala was born in 1995 and earned her Bachelor's degree at the Oulu University of Applied Sciences in Finland. She is completing her Master's degree in Solo Singing with KS Lina Watson at the Music and Arts Private University of Vienna (MUK).

Hietala has often sung as soloist in Mozart's Requiem and has given many solo concerts in Finland. She made her operatic debut as the Queen in the opera The Princess and the Wild Swans by Jaakko Kuusisto (1974-2022) at the Oulu Music Festival 2017 and sang the role of Comtesse Stasi from Csárdásfürstin by Kálmán on tour in Finland in 2017-2018. Between 2016 and 2019 she was a chorus member of the Savonlinna Opera Festival. In 2019 she sang as a soloist with the Oulu Symphony Orchestra. She made her debut at the Finnish National Opera in August 2022 as Gerhilde in Wagner's Walküre.
